♦Semi-Privates

Best deal in town!  Learn how to throw a pot on the wheel.  This is a 90-minute semi-private class for one or two participants scheduled on Sunday or Monday mornings, 10:30-12. Because there are only two of you, you will get lots of attention from our patient instructor.  Total cost for the session is $110. You will select one of the pieces you throw to be glazed and fired.  Some clean up is required!

Cancellation Policy: Tuition is 50% refundable if you contact us at least 72 hours before the session has started.

♦Clay Kids Summer Camps 2018

Kids ages 8+ who like clay will love the 4-day camps with Michelle Dziadkowicz at Full-Circle Pottery this summer.  No experience necessary.  Each day participants spend 90 minutes hand-building masks, gnomes and other fanciful creatures; and 90 minutes learning to make plates, cups, bowls, and other creations on the potter’s wheel. Bring a non-perishable snack each day and get ready to have some fun! Pizza lunch on last day of camp.

Select from two 4-day sessions: July 9,10,11 & 13 (Session 1) OR July 16, 17, 18, 20 (Session 2).  Both camps run from 9:30am-1pm. Cost of camp ($325) includes instruction, supplies and firing. Look for our 10% siblings discount.

♦Adult "Intro 4" and "Step Up To Studio"

Our four-week adult "Intro 4" class is designed for beginners with no experience throwing on the pottery wheel and those who have been away from the wheel and need a refresher. Participants work on basic pottery skills: how to prepare clay for the wheel, and the steps for creating ("throwing"), finishing ("trimming") and glazing cylinders, bowls and cups.  This class can be taken more than once.  Class size is limited to six participants. Length of class is 2.5 hours.

Participants who have taken a beginning pottery wheel class at Full-Circle or elsewhere can continue practicing basic skills with our four-week "Step Up To Studioclass, offered every few months.  Forms in this class may include plates, taller cylinders and small vases.  This class can be taken more than once.  Class size is limited to six participants.  Length of class is 2.5 hours.

Price ($180) of classes includes instruction, clay, use of tools, firings, and glaze.

Missed Class Policy: We will be working with wet clay during the first two weeks of class, then carefully drying it to the right texture for week three.  Because of this, we are unable to offer make up classes for the first three weeks.  You are able to reschedule the fourth class (glazing) to a Saturday afternoon within four weeks of the last day of class.

♦Adult Hand-building Class

Join ceramicist Leslie Rosdol for "Coil It Up," a six-week hand-building intensive. Leslie will demonstrate a variety of projects incorporating coil techniques that can be recreated or adapted into individualized pieces.  More advanced students are welcome to bring their own project ideas, and those who throw may wish to incorporate thrown vessels into their creations. Price ($240) includes instruction, clay, use of tools, firings, and glaze. Length of class is 2 hours. All levels welcome!

Perfect for beginners and kids who have experience on the wheel. They will spend some time on a hand-building project, and finish out the class by glazing their pieces. ♦Modern Slab Designs Workshop

Sunday 6/10, 10 am -12:30 pm.  This workshop is for all those who have admired Full-Circle potter Cullen Baker's sleek modern slab designs.  Participants will learn how to prepare and dry slabs to avoid warping and cracking, and be guided to create a piece with modern sensibilities. No experience required.  No refunds on this workshop, so be sure you can attend before signing up.  Cost is $43.75 for members and $75 for non-members, and includes clay and bisque firing.

♦Delightful Nerikomi Workshop

Sunday 5/6, 10 am -12:30 pm.  Full-Circle potter Tracy Louise-Marie will be sharing her technique for coloring clay, and walk participants through the process of making striated clay slabs and turning them into agateware.  This workshop is being offered a second time because the first time was a smash hit!  No experience required. No refunds on this workshop, so be sure you can attend before signing up.  Cost is $43.75 for members and $75 for non-members, and includes clay and bisque firing.
