♦Semi-Privates (SPs)

Best deal in town!  Learn how to throw a pot on the wheel.  This is a 90-minute semi-private (SP) class for one or two participants scheduled on Sunday or Monday mornings, 10:30-12. Because there are only two of you, you will get lots of attention from our patient instructor.  Note: Total cost for the session is $110, regardless of whether it's you and a friend, or you alone. You will each select one of the pieces you throw to be glazed and fired.  Some clean up is required!  Please call with questions: (310) 502-3115.

Cancellation Policy: Tuition is 50% refundable if you contact us at least 72 hours before the session has started.

♦Clay Kids Summer Camps 2018

Kids ages 8+ who like clay will love the 4-day camps with Michelle Dziadkowicz at Full-Circle Pottery this summer.  No experience necessary.  Each day participants spend 90 minutes hand-building masks, gnomes and other fanciful creatures; and 90 minutes learning to make plates, cups, bowls, and other creations on the potter’s wheel. Bring a non-perishable snack each day and get ready to have some fun! Pizza lunch on last day of camp.

Select from two 4-day sessions: July 9,10,11 & 13 (Session 1) OR July 16, 17, 18, 20 (Session 2). Both camps run from 9:30am-1pm. Cost of camp ($325) includes instruction, supplies and firing. Look for our 10% siblings discount.

Cancellation Policy: Cancel your order within 48 hours of booking and receive a 100% refund. Tuition is 50% refundable if you contact us at least two weeks before the session has started.

♦Adult "Intro 4" and "Step Up To Studio"

Our four-week adult "Intro 4" class is designed for beginners with no experience throwing on the pottery wheel and those who have been away from the wheel and need a refresher. Participants work on basic pottery skills: how to prepare clay for the wheel, and the steps for creating ("throwing"), finishing ("trimming") and glazing cylinders, bowls and cups. This class can be taken more than once. Class size is limited to six participants. Length of class is 2.5 hours.

Participants who have taken a beginning pottery wheel class at Full-Circle or elsewhere can continue practicing basic skills with our four-week "Step Up To Studio" class, offered every few months. Forms in this class may include plates, taller cylinders and small vases.  This class can be taken more than once.  Class size is limited to six participants. Length of class is 2.5 hours.

Price ($180) of classes includes instruction, clay, use of tools, firings, and glaze.

Cancellation Policy: Cancel your order within 48 hours of booking and receive a 100% refund.  Tuition is 50% refundable if you contact us at least two weeks before the session has started.

Missed Class Policy: We will be working with wet clay during the first two weeks of class, then carefully drying it to the right texture for week three.  Because of this, we are unable to offer make up classes for the first three weeks.  You are able to reschedule the fourth class (glazing) to a Saturday afternoon within four weeks of the last day of class.

♦Sculpture Workshop With Gina Lawson Egan

Ceramic artist Gina Lawson Egan will be at Full-Circle Pottery on Sunday, August 12, 10 am-5 pm.  You won't want to miss this one-day hands on workshop if you're interested in making sculptural forms.  Gina is a student of Paul Soldner and teaches ceramics at Cal Poly Pomona.  Her work has been shown and collected in California and elsewhere for decades.  At Full-Circle Pottery Gina will demonstrate how she uses coils and slabs to build her whimsical narrative pieces. No experience required.  No refunds on this workshop, so be sure you can attend before signing up.  Cost is $150 for members and $175 for non-members, and includes clay and bisque firing.
